Specialties
Michelle Wong is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about uplifting and supporting teens, young adults, older adults, and families with their psychological well-being to face challenges, navigate uncertainties, and to sustain meaningful transformations. She uses a client-centered and systems theory model to highlight individual strengths and values and to provide insight on the external values from surrounding environments.
Michelle has worked with diverse populations, including at-risk youth, immigrants and refugees, justice-impacted, seniors, and individuals who suffer from addiction and complex traumas. Her approach is to meet the client where they are at in their readiness for change and to work together in processing traumas, establishing healthy relationships, and working towards their personal goals. She provides treatment on anger management, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life-transitions, and self-esteem.
