Shantae Bennett, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) is a dedicated therapist passionate about helping individuals, couples and families navigate life’s challenges. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton, and takes an eclectic, client-centered approach tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Shantae is a trauma-informed therapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities into her work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, play therapy, and sand tray therapy. When working with couples, she utilizes The Gottman Method to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and foster deeper emotional connections.

Her goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered to cultivate meaningful change and to create the lives they want to live. Whether supporting individuals through trauma, life transitions, or relationship challenges, Shantae is committed to guiding her clients toward greater emotional well-being and personal growth.
