Susana Macias, MA, LCSW

Susana Macias is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience in the mental health field.  She finds meaning in helping individuals and families address their unique needs and discover their truest potential.  

Susana has worked with individuals and families of different backgrounds, including children 0-5, teen parents, survivors of domestic violence, and immigrants.  Susana specializes in perinatal mental health, abandonment, depression, life transitions, family conflicts, parenting challenges, and self-esteem. Susana utilizes multiple treatment approaches including mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) when working with individuals and families. Susana is certified in infant massage and is currently working on her Lactation Education Certification.  

Susana seeks to help individuals and families during challenging moments in life while empowering them by utilizing a person-centered and strengths-based approach.  Susana strives to support individuals in developing their awareness and self-understanding by providing a warm and collaborative space for individuals to develop their thoughts and feelings, process difficult emotions, heal, and to be their authentic selves.
