She believes that every person, couple, and family are unique, and everyone’s journey through therapy will look different. Malak has worked with her clients to navigate their own unique challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, family/relationship conflict, new life Transitions (e.g., work status change, school, divorce) and other issues impacting their overall well-being by processing any challenges or emotions that may appear along the way and managing their stress (by learning coping skills).

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in the idea that genuine connection, highlighting authenticity, and warmth are the stepping stones toward personal transformation while highlighting clients strengths during therapy. She believes in fostering a safe, judgment-free environment where clients can express themselves. Malak uses evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and Client-centered approaches to assist her clients in feeling empowered to achieve their goals.
